In our HOA community, it's becoming a pattern to receive lawyer-drafted notices that come with a legal fee. The kicker? These fees aren't approved by any HOA committee or voted on, which goes against Florida's HOA regulations, specifically section 720. Florida section 720 clearly outlines the process for notifying parcel owners and the timeframe they have to respond. So, why are legal notices being sent without this due process?
